Ashton, Mason, and Landon went to class. They were thrilled to meet Kingston.

They waved to Mr. Carson in the hallway. He looked concerned. "What is wrong?" the boys asked him.

"Kingston is missing!" said Mr. Carson. "We have to find him before the party today."

"We can help look for him!" shouted the boys as they ran off to look for the mascot.

"Maybe Kingston got hungry," said Ashton. The boys looked for him in the lunchroom, but he was not there.

Next, they looked for him in the gym. They saw some kids playing, but Kingston was not there either.

Then they went outside to the playground. On the ground, they spotted a ribbon. "I think this is from Kingston," said Mason. "He must be close!"

"Help me!" a voice called from over by the swings. The boys ran over.

There they saw Kingston! He was stuck in the swings!

They worked together to free him. "Thank you!" said Kingston once he was back on his feet. "I went on the swings while I waited for the party to start, and my fur got caught!" he said.

"We are just glad we found you and could help get you out!" said Landon. Just then, the bell rang, and kids ran out to the playground. Kingston waved goodbye to the boys and went to join the playground party.
