Jill liked the spring. She liked the green blades of grass. Jill went to the lake with her pail and some bait. She had a plan to get some fish. "I will get a big one!" she said. But the fish did not like her bait. Jill had no fish in her pail. What a pain! Then, a frog hopped on a log. "I will chase the frog!" said Jill. She had fun and did not care about the fish.

Cool gray skies fade, and the sun shines. 

Frost melts, and rain falls on fresh blades of grass.

Kids race to the park. They have waited all winter to play!

Seeds sprout and make their way out of the rich soil. 

Birds lay eggs and wait for them to hatch. 

Vases are filled with graceful May blooms. 

Spring changes bring new life and fresh hope!
