Fran the duck had a strong will. She loved to splash in the bog. In the spring, the sun is up. Fran went for a stroll. She saw a long string. It was strung on a big twig. Fran tugged on the string. A bell went "ring!" Fran quacked and quacked. It was a fun spring day.

Rex got up. The frost was melting. It was Spring!

He ran to the pond and jumped in with a big splash!

A strong wind sent a long string onto the path.

Rex was stressed. "I must get to the end of this string!" he said.

Rex held the long strand in his wing as he strolled on.

The string went to the left. Rex went with it.

At the end of the path, there was a skunk. He was squinting up at the sky.

"It is the end of the string!" said Rex. He strolled to Skunk and passed him the string.

"Spring is the best!" said Rex with a big grin.
