Beth the cat longs for a snack. "I think I want a snack," she said. Beth sees a big red ball. She gives the ball a whack. A moth flicks from the ball. "Yuck!" said Beth. Then, she sees a big glass of milk. Beth has a long drink. "I will nap now," she said. She was snug in a bed.

"It is a day to be thankful, Beth," Mom says.

"It is when we say thanks for all the things we have," says Mom. 

"I am glad I have a fun spot to swing. Thank you, swings!" Beth says.

They pass Ming at the bank. "Thank you for all your help, Ming," says Beth. 

They walk up a big hill. "Thank you, strong legs!" Beth says.

"We do have so much to be thankful for," Mom says. 

At last, Mom and Beth get back to their deck.

Beth stops. "One last thing to be thankful for," she says. "What is that?" asks Mom. 

"You! Thank you, Mom!" Beth says with a big hug.
