Chen the ghost had a plan. He held his sack. "I will get a snack," he said. Chen had a wish. He had a hunch that Tom's doll, Ann, had snacks. Chen went to the neighborhood. He saw Tom's shed. The shed had a lock on it. "Heck!" said Chen. He saw a crack in the back of the shed. Chen slid in. He saw a big chest. It was not a doll. It was a big black dog! The dog let out a shrill yip. "Gosh!" said Chen. The dog licks Chen. "You are a good pup," said Chen. The dog had a snack in his dish. Chen and the dog had a snack.

"What was that?" he says as he jumps in shock.

Ash goes to the glass to check, but he just sees black. 

"Must be a stick on the glass," he says with a shrug.

Ash gets a chill. He shifts in his spot, then stands up.

Ash pulls on his socks and steps to the door.

He flips the lock and lets the door slip just a crack.

"Trick or treat!" the kids yell with their full sacks!
