The Red Oak Tree in Fall
A red oak stands tall.
It is full of big green leaves.
It has small green nuts.
The nut is like a ball. It has a cap and a stem on top. You call it an acorn.
In Fall, the leaves are red and the nuts are tan.
The leaves and nuts fall off.
The twigs look dull.
On a Fall stroll, you will see small hills of leaves and nuts on the grass.
Kids jump and roll in the leaves!
It is fun!
