"Wow," Susan said. The leaves have so many pretty hues!

She looks for her friend Mathew. Where is he?

Susan looks by the big pine. She looks by the pool.

No Mathew. Then Susan sees a group of youths.

They argue and argue. "What is the problem?" Susan asks.

"We want to have a barbecue," one youth said. "But we have few skewers," another youth said.

Susan looks in her bag. "I have one souvenir," she said.

It is a skewer! "Phew," one of the youths said.

They continue to the barbecue. Mathew is there!

"You came!" he said.

Susan smiles. The barbecue is fun.

They have soup and talk.
