Sloan the goat had one goal. She had to get to the coast!

She would roam the long road to get there.

When Sloan reached the road, she saw a big toad.

"Whoa!" said Sloan. The toad croaked and jumped onto a boat. "Hop on!" he said.

Sloan made an oath. She would not go by boat. She would take the road.

The toad sped by. The boat was a fast way to go, but Sloan kept to the road.

Sloan felt a chill. She put on her hat and coat and kept strolling.

Sloan made it to a big oak tree. She sat to rest and ate some toast. Then, she got back on the road.

At last, Sloan saw the sea. She had reached the coast! Sloan met her goal!
