“How will I go to the fruit bat ball?” he wails.

Rue sees a clue on his bed. It was a bit of red fuzz!

He looks for more clues.

Rue spots his pal, Sue. "Is it true you lost your red suit?" Sue asks.

"Yes!" Rue nods. "And I will miss the ball if I do not get it back."

Sue helps Rue look for more clues. They spot more red fuzz on the path.

The fuzz trail leads to the trash.

Rue digs and sees his suit!

The suit has a rip, but he fixes it with glue. "I can go to the ball!" yells Rue.

Rue and Sue go to the ball. Rue looks grand in his red suit.

The bats smile and split a glass of juice. Rue is so glad he made it to the ball!
