Zitto Zampa: The Warmest Soup
Zitto Zampa is a pirate. He is the boldest pirate. His ship might be the smallest, but his pot is the deepest.
Zitto wants his pasta, but the sea is the coldest! He does not want cold pasta. He wants the thickest, longest, softest pasta with the warmest sauce.
He sails to a cave. The cave is the darkest. The soup is the coldest. Zitto shivers. “It must get warmer,” he says.
Zitto Zampa lights a flame and waits. The pasta gets warmer. The pot is now the warmest!
Zitto jumps in. Splash! The pasta is warm. The smell is the strongest. The bite is the cheesiest.
He eats. Faster. Faster. Fastest!
He slurps the sauce. His slurps get louder and louder until he is the loudest!
Then Zitto Zampa naps. His belly is at its fullest. Zitto smiles. He is the proudest pirate in the most yummy pot.
