Fundations (3rd)

Lance the snake had a chance to dance.  He had to prance and glance at the fence.  Since he was late, Lance had to make a stance.  He wished he could win a prince’s white cape.  But then Lance saw his chance.  He would jump the fence!  Lance zipped to the top. "Yes!" he said.  He had a quick win.  Lance did a dance on the fence.  He was a champ!


Prince Lance had a pet snake, Vince. Vince lived in a tan bin.

Prince Lance called Vince to wake up, but Vince did not get out of the bin.

Prince Lance had a glance at the bin. "How will I get Vince out?" he asked.

Since Vince would not wake up, Prince Lance called his pal Jon to help.

Prince Lance watched Jon prance by the fence.

Jon set his bag by the tan bin and got his flute from it.

He got in a wide stance and pressed his lips to the flute to make a tune.

In a trance, Vince rose from the tan bin. He twitched and rocked to the tune.

""Vince can dance!" yelled Prince Lance. "Thank you, Jon! You got Vince out of the bin!""
