“Yuck!” Ace said as he made a face.

"I wish I had a slice of plum," said Ace.

Ace went to get his dad, Bruce.

“Dad, can I have a plum?” asked Ace. "Have your rice, and then I will get you a plum," said Dad.

Ace did not like the rice, but he had a plan!

He fetched some figs to dice up and mix in the rice. Then he mixed in a bit of spice.

Ace had a small bite. "Yum!" said Ace. "This rice is nice!"

Ace ate the big plate of rice.

Then, dad gave Ace a big slice of plum!
