Patches the duck had an itch.  He twitched and scratched, but the itch would not go. "This itch is a glitch!" Patches said with a twitch. He fetched his hat and a map.  Patches was itching to get to the ditch by the big hill. When he got to the ditch, he saw his pal Mitch. Mitch had a patch on his hat.  "Can you help?" Patches said. "I have an itch I can not scratch." Mitch said, "I have a batch of mint.  Rub it on your itch." Patches did. The itch was not there. "Thanks, Mitch!" Patches said.


He twitched and blinked, but the itch did not stop.

"I must get help to stop this itch!" he said.

Patches ditched the pond and went on the path.

Patches got to a ditch. His pal, Mitch, was there.

"Mitch, I have a bad itch!" said Patches.

Mitch snatched the hat from Patches. Then, he switched hats.
