Ben sat on a twig in the pond.

His twin, Tom, had a red hat. Ben did not.

Tom swam by Ben with his red hat on top.

"Lend the red hat," said Ben to Tom.

Swish! Tom swam fast.

Ben was sad. "I wish I had a red hat," he said.

Then, Ben felt a swift wind.

The red hat was in the pond. Ben swam fast to get it.

Ben got the hat and hid it in a log.

Tom swam up. He was sad. "I lost the red hat," he said.

Ben did not wish to have the hat if Tom was sad.

"Tom, I have it!" he said.

Ben got the hat to Tom.

Tom was glad to get his hat! Ben was glad to help!
