Trish the sloth loved to nap.  She slept on a plush log, near a  fresh stream.  One day, while Trish slept, a big flash of light hit her.  She woke with a gasp!  Her  plush log was gone!  "My log!" Trish cried.  A  kind cat, Jon, saw her fret. "I saw a big van," Jon said, "It had a  lot of logs, and it sped away."  Trish felt sad, but Jon helped her find a new, even plusher log.  As they walked, Trish found a  big, red  box! Inside was a yummy plum and a fun  toy.  Trish smiled.  It was a much better day than she had planned!


Trish the sloth had a nap with a plush dog.

Trish felt a gust of wind. The wind was fast and trash went in the pond. 

Trish felt flush. "I must get to the shed!" she said.

Trish got a cloth to brush the mud from the plush.

Then, Trish sat on the mat to have a nap.
