Chester the chick sat on the porch.  He had an itch on his chin.  Chester scratched and scratched.  "Ouch!" he said. The itch would not go.  He saw a patch on the porch.  Chester scratched his chin on the patch.  The itch was no more! Chester was so rich. He perched on the patch.  "This patch is much fun," Chester chirped.


Chester the chick sat on the porch in the sun.

Chester went to scratch the itch but it did not stop.

""Ouch!" he said, "This itch is too much!""

Close to the bench, there was a soft green patch of grass in the shade.

Chester rubbed his chin on the patch of grass.

He gave a stretch and then perched on the patch of grass with a smile.
