He feared he could not see it. A big, fearsome cloud appeared near the moon. Fred was weary.

He wanted to see the clearest sky. The cloud grew bigger, nearing the moon. Fred’s ears perked up.

He was nearly sure the cloud was moving! He looked for the Big Dipper again, but it disappeared! Where did it go?

His fear grew. He loved the Big Dipper dearly. Then, the clouds cleared.

The moon reappeared, bright and big. Fred saw the Big Dipper! It had been hiding behind the cloud!

Fred laughed. He was so joyful. He watched as the cloud went away, clearing the sky.

He knew the Big Dipper would always reappear, and that made him happy. He gave a big yawn. It was time to go to sleep.
