Reading Horizons (K)

- Use the following story structure (1. Introduce the character. 2-3. Provide a bit of detail. 4. Character performs an action. 5-6. Provide a bit of detail. 7. Wrap things up).
- Only use 1 syllable words in the story except for custom words, character, setting, and character name.
- The story should have an interesting plot with a sequence of clearly connected events (do not end the story with "the end")

Josh the moth had a wish. He wanted to find a lush, green hill. Josh set out on his quest. He dashed past big bushes. The path was long and flat. Josh saw a flash of light. It was a rich, pink frond. He felt a rush of joy. Josh flapped his wings with bliss. He found the hill he wished for. Josh was happy in his new lush home.

He would like to rest on a big lush hill. 

There is a frog on the path. It hops by in a flash. It is in such a rush.

Josh wishes it would stop to chat, but it hops on.

He can see a big pond with some fish in it.

Then, past the pond, Josh can see a big hill!

Josh gets to the lush hill! Now he can rest!
