Saving the Rowboats

Moe the crow liked to roam down by the lake. One day, he spotted people in raincoats leaving the lake. Their rowboats sat in the water. "What is this?" Moe asked.

As the rain came down and the water rose, the lake started overflowing! "The boats will float away," Moe thought. His friend, Jin, hopped over.

"Moe, we must save the boats!" said Jin as he hopped in one of the rowboats.

"Start towing these boats!" Moe called. Jin tossed a rope to Moe. Moe tugged the rope from the sky as Jin rowed.

They towed the boats to safety one by one. "Great job, Moe!" Jin croaked with joy.

As they lifted the last boat to land, the rain stopped and the sun came out.

Side by side, Jin and Moe gazed at the glowing sunset. "What a day," Moe said. Jin nodded, "Yes, and now we can rest."
