- Use the following story structure: 1-2. Introduce character and set the scene, 3-5. Introduce the problem. 6-7. Provide a bit of detail. 8-10. Solve the problem. 11-12. Wrap things up.

Snowy the goat loved to roam the hillside. One day, a snowstorm began to blow. Snowy watched the snowflakes fall. “Whoa, this is wild!” she thought. The snow was thick, and the path was hidden. Snowy felt lost and full of woe. She needed to find her way home.

Snowy saw a crow flying low. “Can you help me?” she called. The crow cawed and began to follow a route. Snowy followed closely, her hooves crunching the icy snow. They crossed over a small, frozen stream. The crow led Snowy to an overgrown path.

Snowy saw the glow of her home in the distance. “Thank you, crow!” she bleated happily. The crow cawed once more and flew away. Snowy trotted home, her coat dusted with snow. Her mother greeted her with a warm nod.  

Snowy learned to always watch the sky for signs of snow. She knew the hillside could change with a snowstorm's blow. But now, she was safe, warm, and with her family.

Joe the goat liked to roam the hillside. One day, a snowstorm started to blow. Joe stopped to look at the snow as it fell on the hill.

The snow came down fast. “Whoa, this is wild!” he thought. The snow was thick, and the path was hidden.

Joe felt lost and full of woe. He needed to find his way home. Then, Joe spotted a crow flying low.

“Can you help me?” he called. "I need to find my way home." The crow nodded and started to show Joe the way. 

Joe went with the crow, his feet crunching in the snow. They crossed over a small, frozen stream. The crow led Joe to an overgrown path.

Joe spotted the glow of his home at the end of the path. “Thank you, crow!” he called. 

The crow smiled and left. Joe trotted home, his coat dusted with snow. His mother greeted him with a hug.

Next time, Joe knew to check the sky for snow. The hillside could change with the blow of a snowstorm. But for now, he was glad to be safe at home with his family.
