Betty and the Big Rock
Betty waddled into the grass. The sun was nice. "What a day!" she said, marveling at the sparkling grass.
Betty saw some gardeners. They were planting seeds. "Can I help?" she asked calmly.
They nodded, smiling. Betty started to dig. Dirt flew as she worked harder and faster.
Suddenly, Betty hit something hard. "Oh no," she said, looking at the rock. "What is it?" asked a gardener. Her name was Zara.
"It is a big rock," Betty replied. "We can move it together," Zara said.
They formed a partnership, pushing the rock aside. Betty grinned. "We did it!" she exclaimed.
"Thank you, Betty," Zara said. "You are a superstar!"
Betty watched as the gardeners finished their work. The garden was now full of new plants. The sight was lovely.
Betty was glad as she said goodbye. She would return to help again.
