Abe is an ostrich. He runs fast. He hops over grasses. Abe splashes in mud. He sees boxes and dishes. Abe pecks at them. A fox rushes by. Abe watches the fox. He then dashes away. Abe loves his home.

Abe is an ostrich. He likes to run fast with all the other ostriches.

Abe runs by grasses and hops over branches.

Then he splashes in mud and pecks for bugs.

On the path back, he falls in one of the trenches.

Abe hops out of the trench. He is not safe when he rushes!

Mom greets Abe with big kisses and he blushes. He is glad to be home.
