Rusty the scarecrow stood in the patch. He had a big smile. The wind made him wave. The kids came to see him. "Look at Rusty!" they said. Chad and Beth rode bikes by the patch. "Rusty is fun!" Chad said. Beth gave Rusty a doll. Rusty stood still as dusk fell. The moon shone on the patch. Rusty was happy with his friends.

Chuck is on a big farm. It is fall. He helps prep for the big feast.

He gets a bag to fill with nuts. Chuck packs the bag till it is full and puts it in the shed. 

Chuck finds his pal Tess. Tess has a jug to fill. 

Chuck helps Tess. They fill the jug. "Plop! Splash!" The jug is full.

Next, Chuck stops by the hen's pen. The hens are in a rush! "Cluck! Cluck!" 

Chuck puts grass in the pen for the hens. "This will help," he thinks. 

Jess calls Chuck. She hands Chuck a bell to set off at the feast.

All was set. Chuck rang the bell and Jess gave a clap. 

Chuck felt glad and gave thanks. The feast was the best!
