Ann and Beth were sitting. Ann was fussing about cleaning up.

“I do not want to clean," Fred said, puffing. “Jumping is fun!”

Beth blinked, thinking, "What if we made cleaning a game?”

Fred stopped jumping, asking, “How?”

“We can have a leaf jumping contest! Then, we will clean by stacking the leaves after each jump," Beth said with a flap of her wings.

Fred grinned. “Let's do it!" he said.

They all were jumping, flapping, and crashing into the pile.

Fred was panting. He felt glad.

“This was fun!” Fred said, grinning.

They all got to work, pulling and lifting the leaves into piles.

By the time they were done, it was clean. They had a great time.

“Cleaning wasn’t so bad after all,” Fred said.
