Nora lived in a big, wild land.

She loved to hang out with her buddy, the bird.

One day, Nora saw a word on a stone.

The word was "work" and it made her wonder.

She asked her friend the bird, ''What is this word?''

The bird said, ''When we work hard, we can make things better.''

This made Nora want to make her land better.

She started by picking up the litter and planting shrubs.

Her hard work made the land look so much better.

The bird chirped, ''Your work is worth a party, Nora!''

From then on, Nora worked hard every day.

Her hard work made her land a better place to live.

"Hard work is worth it!" Nora said.

That's how Nora became a hardworking hedgehog.
