Joe the lemur rested on a branch in the daylight. He let out a big yawn and a sigh.

He tried to stand, but his thigh was not right.

Joe's mother heard his yell and quickly climbed high up to the branch in the tree.

''Mom, will I be okay?'' Joe asked with a sigh.

''Yes, dear. You just need some rest. You should stay here tonight,'' his Mom replied, tying a leaf bandage tight around his thigh.

To cheer Joe up, his mom made him a fruit pie. Joe beemed with delight.

''Rest helped my thigh a lot. I feel much better,'' Joe said.

Joe learned the importance of rest and patience.
