Seiko and Freya

Seiko loved to play in the snow with his neighbor Freya.

Often, they would race, and Freya would always say, "Seiko, you are the greatest!"

Seiko would answer with a smile, "Hey, Freya, you are not too bad too!"

But today, something felt different.

While running, Seiko felt a strange weight on his back.

He tried to break free from the feeling, but it grew stronger.

Freya saw that something was wrong and quickly ran to his aid.

"Seiko, are you okay?" Freya asked.

Seiko, trying to be brave, replied, "I am okay, I just need to catch my breath."

But Freya knew something was wrong. She chose to check Seiko out to see if she could see what was wrong.

She saw a tiny bit of ice was stuck in his fur, right above his vein.

Freya carefully took out the slice of ice, and just like that, Seiko felt great again.

Seiko thanked Freya and said, "You are truly the best. Thank you for your help."

Freya replied, "I am always here to help, Seiko. Let us continue the race!"

So, they continued their playful race.

Even in the coldest tundra, Seiko and Freya shone brightly as friends.
