Tyrell Wants to Fly

Tyrell the python lives by a lake.

Tyrell likes to bask in the sun and spy on the raven in the sky.

Tyrell had wondered what it was like to fly.

Once, he gave it a try.

He got high up on a branch and gave it a try.

But Tyrell did not fly. He fell from the branch and began to cry.

A kind mule with the name of Ryan, came by. "Do not be shy, tell me why you are upset," said the mule."

Tyrell told Ryan why he was crying.

Ryan analyzed what Tyrell said. Then he gave a reply, "A snake can not fly by itself, but you can get supplies to help you fly."

Tyrell felt glad that he did not have to give up flying and thanked the mule for his kind words.

Tyrell went to get supplies: some wings and a rope.

Tyrell got to a tall branch and gave flying one last try.

Tyrell did it! The wings and rope helped him fly. He felt glad for his pal, Ryan and gave a wide smile.
