One day, he heard a mysterious rustle from the bushes.

Out of the bush, jumped a tiny gnat.

Leo, startled, let out a loud whistle, which echoed around the mountains.

The gnat flew away in a bustle, leaving Leo alone again.

Leo decided to explore the mountain and found a hidden chute.

Inside the chute, he saw a ghastly sight, a ghost of a gnome!

Leo, despite his fear, decided to be brave and said 'Hello' to the ghost.

To his surprise, the ghost started to glisten and transformed into a real gnome.

The gnome thanked Leo for freeing him from the ghoul's curse.

Leo, happy to have made a new friend, began to practice his whistle with the gnome.

Every day after that, Leo and the gnome would meet, listen to the echoes and whistle together.
