Otto the Owl and the Lost Gnome
Otto the owl, perched on a branch, listened to the night.
He loved the rustle of the leaves and the echo of his own hoot.
In the moonlight, Otto saw a ghostly shape in the distance.
It was a gnome, lost in the forest, looking for his home.
Otto decided to help and guided the gnome with a whistle.
They passed a castle, quiet and still, its windows dark.
Otto, perched on a tower, called out to the gnome to hasten.
The gnome followed the sound, his steps echoing in the night.
Finally, they reached a small house, nestled amongst a thistle.
The gnome thanked Otto and disappeared inside, leaving Otto alone in the quiet night.
Otto flew back to his branch, the moonlight glistening on his feathers.
Once again, Otto listened to the night, his heart full of joy.
