Once upon a time, Felix, the cat, lived in a house.

He heard a faint echo from the basement.

In the basement, he found a chute filled with thistle.

The cat had to wrestle with the thistle to clear the chute.

He then saw a gnat flying around a gnome statue.

The gnome statue had a ghastly smile which frightened Felix.

He quickly ran upstairs and heard the rustle of leaves outside.

He saw a ghost outside, under the light of the moon.

Felix decided to fasten the windows to keep the ghost out.

Then he went to his bed, ready to sleep, listening to the orchestra playing on the radio.

The music made him glisten with joy and he fell asleep.

Felix woke up the next morning, ready to face another day of adventures in his house.
