- Vary sentence structure and composition. Use dialogue when possible.
- Only use 1-syllable words 
- The story should have a cohesive beginning, middle, and end (do not end the story with "the end") 
- If the word list does not contain enough words to form a complete story, use your judgment to include additional words that have similar phonetic patterns to the SkillWords and KnowledgeWords (I.e., "seat" is similar to "beat")
